Spend one Friday per month volunteering as a theatre host at the Rubin Museum of Art. The museum is a not-for-profit cultural and educational institution dedicated to the art of the Himalayas and surrounding regions. Every Friday night, the venue converts into a lounge and live theatre. As a host at the museum’s K2 Lounge, your responsibilities include: Distributing tickets for the Cabaret Cinema film, answering questions about the museum, welcoming program participants, and communicating with programming staff. They are looking for outgoing volunteers with a positive attitude and good customer service skills. Volunteers are asked to commit to one Friday night per month from 6:00pm-9:45pm.
*While we all know you volunteer out of the kindness of your heart, this gig comes with a few perks: discounts in the gift shop, free tickets to events, and access to the exhibits.
