For over 60 years, the Dubnoff Center for Child Development has been serving at-risk youth and children with special needs through its multifaceted services, including clinical therapy, special education day school, in-school counseling, vocational educational programming, recreational programs, as well as 2 group homes for at-risk youth throughout the San Fernando Valley. The Dubnoff Center is currently looking for volunteers who have a passion for helping children, particularly those at risk and in need of ongoing support. Become a mentor to these adolescents by tutoring them in arts, music, recreational sports, general education, and career advice. Volunteers will support the adolescents living within the 2 group homes, most of whom are former foster youth, homeless children, or on probation and trying to find a straight path for their future. Become an integral part of the Dubnoff program by helping these kids successfully reintegrate into society. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, pass a background check, and complete the training provided.  Call Jana to learn how you can help today.
