Would you like to make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate? Then consider volunteering at the Salvation Army’s Alegria center! Alegria is looking for compassionate, consistent, and dedicated volunteers for its after-school program to do the following with young students: read books, tutor/assist with homework, participate in interactive/creative indoor and outdoor activities. The after-school program has a capacity of 24 elementary age children residing at the center.

The Alegria Residential Care/Permanent Housing Program also welcomes encouraging, consistent, and enthusiastic volunteers who have knowledge/experience to facilitate any of the following classes: job preparation/readiness, budgeting, or aerobics/yoga exercise.
